The location of the accommodation was perfect, situated in a quiet and peaceful hamlet with easy access to the main road. The surrounding countryside provided beautiful views and lovely walking tracks. The rooms were comfortable and well-decorated, giving us a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Furthermore, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that guests were taken care of, even providing transportation to nearby wedding venues.
The village pub was closed during our stay, despite indicating it would be open in the evening.

I stayed in Studio 3A at The Carriage House and had a wonderful experience. The top-floor apartment in this historic carriage house was very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed for a self-catering stay. The hosts were incredibly helpful and provided lots of good advice about the local area. The location was perfect, with a village pub just a short walk away and a supermarket and fuel station a 5-minute drive. The Park & Ride into York was conveniently located next to the supermarket. I really enjoyed my trip and will definitely visit again.
